Lentil-Spinach Soup

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup soaked red lentil, crushed (Boiled)
  • 2 cups spinach puree
  • 2 Pureed Tomatoes
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp cardamom powder

 

Method

  1. Heat the oil in a pan and add the cumin seeds.
  2. When the seeds crackle, add the spinach and tomatoes along with remaining ingredients, mix well and cook for 5-7 minutes.
  3. Add the boiled lentil and mix well, simmer.
  4. Serve hot.
